All Northwest Warriors players must wear full CSA-approved hockey equipment for all games and practices. Players are expected to arrive fully and properly equipped - those without required gear may not be permitted to participate. Required equipment includes:
- CSA-approved helmet with full face mask
- Mouth guard (see below)
- Neck guard
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow pads
- Gloves
- Hockey pants
- Athletic cup/jill
- Shin guards
- Hockey socks and jersey
- Skates and stick
mouth guards (per hockey calgary policy)
- Mandatory for all U9–U21 players (excluding goaltenders) during practices and games
- Must be commercially manufactured and worn properly on the ice
- Custom-fitted mouth guards from a dental professional are recommended for better protection
- Compliance is the responsibility of both coaches and players
